About Myself
My name is Jonathan Eller (like the title), and I am a high school student at Durham School of the Arts in Durham, North Carolina. My love for gaming began when I was 12 and I got my first gaming computer and played it nonstop for 12 hours a day. I'm taking game design because I want to learn how to make things on different applications like photoshop, illustrator, and the unity game engine. Now after about a year in game design, we have learned a lot about Photoshop and have made a couple designs on my own. I have upgraded my computer to be able to run almost anything I want, and I have spent way too much money on it. My computer right now has a GTX 1070 for it's GPU and a i7-7700 as the CPU.
Some more of my interests include sports like basketball, football, and mainly baseball. I play baseball for my school and I love to play most any sport you can think of. I've been playing baseball on teams since I was about 4-5 even though I'm not the greatest. Another one of my interests includes photography. My mom bought a very nice camera when I was about 7 and I have loved going outside and just walking around a taking random pictures. Learning skills in game design can also contribute to photography and teach me about framing and things like that.
In Game Design I have spent time, so far, with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and 3DS Max. I am going to be spending a lot more time with 3DS Max this year and should be pretty confident with 3D modeling.
